Wildlife first aid course

Kanyana Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre has released their 2013 program of wildlife first aid courses.

With a focus on training people who work on mining and construction sites, the program will give attendees the knowledge and skills necessary to care for sick and injured wildlife. Training is offered at the remote site or at Kanyana’s premises in Lesmurdie.

Information for International Volunteers

Kanyana welcomes international volunteers with teaching, animal-care or veterinary skills. For the safety of our volunteers and our animals, overseas volunteers are required to have a good understanding of English, both written and verbal.

For the experience to be mutually beneficial, Kanyana requires a minimum commitment of one month, 5 days a week from international volunteers.
