henry1Kanyana is a non-profit organisation operating as an Incorporated Association. Despite over 140 committed volunteer carers from the community, the cost to Kanyana for rehabilitating sick, injured, orphaned or displaced wildlife is currently greater than $150,000 per annum, plus the costs of any Capital Works undertaken. Each admission costs on an average $45. Wildlife admissions for 2009 exceeded 2000 animals: an even greater number is anticipated for 2011.

Kanyana can satisfy many telephone queries, even if early referral to a veterinarian is necessary.

The service to wildlife is met without any fee, as all financial contributions are at the discretion of our visitors.

Donations into Kanyana's donation box at the time of wildlife admission, online, or by cheque at a later date, are appreciated and make it possible for us to keep financing our worthwhile services to wildlife and the community. All donations over $2 are tax deductible.

Not just cash!

If you don't wish to make a donation of money, feel free to select something from our Wishlist and donate it.  Download a copy of our wishlist here.
